So what does a Benefits Manager really do? Think of yourself as someone who’s responsible for maintaining and monitoring the employee benefits programs, so not just anyone is qualified for this role. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you want to benchmark against the best benefits practices in the Industry and ensure that TaskUs is always ahead of the competition. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that you will review, design, and administer employee benefits.
As the Benefits Manager, you will do Benefits Design, Benefits Administration, Vendor management, Employee Query Handling, Reporting and Data administration, and guidance to the Benefits team. You will provide support in the development and implementation of global as well as country Benefit strategies. You will also be responsible for the administration and implementation of all employee benefits for employees in the designated area of the business. You will perform other job-related assignments that may be assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
Develop, implement, administer and maintain benefits programs, policies and procedures
Ensure that the benefits programs comply with the relevant legislations
Recommend new benefits programs to Rewards and Business leadership by studying employee requirements, industry benefit trends and developments in benefits offered by competitors.
Supports management’s decision-making process by analyzing benefit programs and doing cost/ budget analysis.
Identifies the best benefit options by studying programs and obtaining advice from consultants.
Manages benefits staff by coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees.
Resolves employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
Working with third-party vendors to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
Develop communication strategies to ensure that employees understand and aware of the benefits offered by the organization
Ensure that benefit documentation is always up-to-date and accurate
Work with Finance and HR team to ensure seamless administration of Benefits programs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
5+ years of related professional experience
3+ years of benefits experience in a global company
Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented; excellent problem-solving skills
Advanced spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets) and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
In-depth knowledge of benefits practices and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits
Relevant certifications, such as a CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) preferred
Experience managing benefits in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS), preferably Workday
Vendor management experience is a must
Strong people and project management skills.
