Remarkable started in 2016 as an initiative of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) and was inspired by a series of global competitions hosted by CPA that resulted in people with cerebral palsy driving the development of new technologies, such as a solar-powered wheelchair. Remarkable also drew inspiration from a hackathon program that invited people with disabilities to create cutting-edge technology.

Since then, Remarkable has evolved into a global suite of programs, capital pathways and networks designed to empower Disability Tech innovators with what they need to create a future that is accessible, equitable and inclusive for all.

About the role

The Remarkable Operations Coordinator will assist in delivering technical operational support under the guidance of the Senior Operations Manager. You will play a crucial role in systematising internal processes and ensuring smooth operations to help the Remarkable team meet its priorities.

This role is based in the Sydney CBD office with hybrid work options.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

  • Ensuring event, podcast, and masterclass content is uploaded, transcribed, and accessible
  • Updating and maintaining interfaces, feedback platforms and the website to support program managers and user needs
  • Facilitating cross-team and external communications, managing Slack channels, and ensuring smooth information flow
  • Supporting tech tools and automation for analytics, including maintaining accurate data and conducting accessibility audits
  • Troubleshooting internal systems, addressing technical issues, and managing invoicing and external inquiries
  • Monitoring and reporting on automation performance, building and updating event databases, and performing database cleanup
  • Assisting the implementation and auditing of accessibility standards are maintained across our systems, processes, events etc.

About you:

  • You have a passion for accessibility, inclusion and creating a working environment for people to thrive in their unique ways.
  • You have proven experience in operational support or project management
  • You love tech tools and have a curiosity for low-code platforms like Airtable, Zapier, Glide, and Microsoft Azure.
  • A background in IT, project management, or software engineering is preferred but not essential.
  • You are a go-getter who is action-oriented and adaptable to change
  • You have effective organisational, administration and time management skills
  • Prior experience in a startup or the disability industry is preferred
