This role is a Growth Engineer and will report directly to the CGO

What does the role look like?

As a Growth Engineer you’ll be responsible for helping us build bots that automate growth strategies that will 10x the business. Growth engineers at Whop have big ownership and velocity in order to significantly impact the company top-line metrics. You will work closely with the Partnerships, Account Management, and Growth Marketing team. You will be the go to person to work on writing scripts/building bots!

The breadth of projects are wide as we will work on any project necessary to grow us faster but some sample growth team projects are: tools that help onboard more creators, bots that help increase the supply on whop, simple data-feed bots (think Discord bots) rebuilt as Whop Apps.You’ll be the person who builds bots and new tools that allow us to experiment with new strategies and scale existing strategies quickly. 

Your First 90 Days:

• Within 30 days: Kick off your first scraping project
• Within 60 days: You will continue maintaining scraping your projects while also starting to build mini whop apps (think simple Discord bots but as whop apps).
• Within 90 days: You have built multiple bots + scrapers + Whop Apps that are driving new creator growth!

Who you are:

Whether it be sneaker bots, discord bot, or other types of bots, you've been building bots for all your life! You’ve always been an extremely scrappy developer getting around complex systems and building hacky solutions to difficult problems. You grew up building bots and automation tools and want to help build tools at scale.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in high growth environments
• You are well versed in Python/JS. 
• You've built tons of Discord bots + large-scale bots
• Excellent communication skills, ability to synthesize to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Highly resourceful and able to thrive in a competitive, fast-changing landscape.
