DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The banking and finance team advises on all forms of lending transactions, bank products and loan transaction structures, with a focus on cross-border transactions. Core areas include structured financing, real estate financing, leveraged and acquisition financing, special situations, fund finance, asset finance, and syndicated loans. The team work closely with other practice areas such as corporate, restructuring and special situations and litigation teams, and also other offices within the global network in APAC, the US, UK/Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a newly-qualified Associate to join our Banking and Finance team. The role is based in Hong Kong and the successful candidate's primary role will work under the direct supervision of senior members of the team.

• The successful candidate will have a LLB / LLM / JD / PCLL degree
• Completed 2-year training contract and due to be qualified within this year in Hong Kong or have 0-1 year working experience in banking and finance practice area.
• Team player, committed, enthusiastic, ambitious, take ownership and responsible
• Experience in cross border transactions is useful.
• Strong command of English and Chinese/Mandarin (written and spoken) required.
