WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Optimization with a strong drive to continuously innovate how we best flow our Nike, Jordan, and Converse products through our multi-node supply chain network. With multi-node we mean our expanding distribution network that Nike EMEA is building to best serve our marketplace across eCommerce, Stores, and Wholesale Partners. You will be a key player in cross-functional projects aiming to optimize inventory management in this network, to increase speed and service to consumers and minimize operational costs.

You get excited by creating innovative, algorithm-driven, yet simple and flexible solutions that enable dynamic positioning and managing of our inventory in the right location across the multi-node fulfillment network.

You love an opportunity and can easily switch from the abstract and conceptual to the practical reality of building the supply chain of tomorrow. You get energy about what can be and are able to convey this excitement to others. And you are comfortable with some degree of ambiguity that comes with a large, fast-paced organization.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you will be part of the Marketplace Supply Chain Multi-node team that drives and co-ordinates Nike’s Multi Node strategy deployment and inventory flow across our channels and nodes. The Senior Analyst in the team is our subject matter expert on supply chain flow data, with the ability to simplify complex information and effectively communicate findings. And you will support the design and development of inventory flow solutions to equip our Run & Improve teams with better tools for making choices, and consequently improve our performance on all pillars of Nike’s Consumer Promise: Service, Convenience, Sustainability and Profitability.

A typical day/week will see you being involved in one or multiple supply chain innovation projects. It will range from identifying opportunities by diving into the data and providing data-driven recommendations, to working (together) on the design and development of automated and intelligent decision-making solutions. You will have the opportunity to be involved in multiple impactful projects, which will equip our run & improve teams with improved processes & tools to flow our products seamlessly and efficiently through the multi-node network.

In summary, your responsibilities will include to:

  • Generate insights through data evaluation to answer key business questions
  • Provide research to balance cost and service while increasing stock turn as input to improvement cases, using descriptive and predictive analytics
  • Visualize and communicate the outcomes and the story behind the numbers to stakeholders to create engagement and excitement
  • Bring an improvement and innovation mindset to manage and participate in medium to large sized cross-functional projects
  • Contribute to advanced analytics and optimization innovations to improve product flow through our multi-node network
  • Assist the Multi-node and wider Supply Chain teams through rich operational business intelligence, design and development of support to make the right choice solutions, which simplify transactional work and unlock value creation

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be part of the EMEA Supply Chain Multi-Node team, which is part of the Seasonal Excellence organization. Seasonal Excellence is the team that manages the smooth flow of inventory across EMEA to deliver strong Availability, Orderbook health, Working Capital, and logistic efficiency.

Because of the nature of the work, you will be working together closely with our teammates across functions. Amongst others you will be collaborating with our other marketplace supply chain ‘run & improve’ and capability-building teams across Nike NDDC (eCommerce), Stores, and Marketplace Partners. And with our Logistics teams who are responsible for the distribution and transportation of our product, where you will work closely with teams such as Network Capacity Optimization (NCO).

In the wider organization key partners on our journey are in Demand & Supply Management, Finance, and Merchandising and Consumer x Marketplace teams. To deliver the data & analytics part of this role, you will work together with Capability Building teams, (Supply Chain) Analytics, and Nike Technology. Both within EMEA as well as with our Global World Headquarters teams based in Portland, USA.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience in Data Analysis & Reporting (Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Excel, and/or similar tools)
  • At least a basic understanding and knowledge of Advanced Analytics methods (Optimization, AI/ML, Python)
  • Experience in Supply Chain Planning & Operations, preferably in an Omnichannel Retail context
  • Innovation Mindset
  • Commercial & Financial Acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communication
