Across our portfolio of live event venues and corporate offices, we have an excellent and immediate opening for a Part Time Bartender at the ASM GLOBAL Pembroke Pines/Club 19 location. This position primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our patrons by serving alcoholic beverages etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down of assigned bar.
  •  Handles all forms of payment and inventory according to company policy.
  •  Completes all assigned paperwork appropriately.
  •  Ensures all health codes are followed.
  •  Directs barback when stock is needed.
  •  Serves customer in accordance with SMG/Savor alcohol policy.
  •  Establishes and maintains positive client relationships.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience         

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have one year of customer service experience.
  • Previous bartending experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have basic working knowledge of bar operations.
  • Must have ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide.
  • Must have strong customer service skills.
  • Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Must have strong people skills.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.
  • Must be compliant with health codes.
  • Must complete Alcohol Compliance Training.
  • Must be able to pass criminal and credit background check.
  • Ability to work as a collaborator. 

Physical Demands

  • Daily standing for 4 or more hours at a time.
  • Constant standing, walking, stooping, constant reaching, handling products.
  • Must be able to speak clearly, read, write, and comprehend the primary language.
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for extended periods.
  • Must have a good sense of balance.
  • Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Hours of Work/Requirements

  • Mondays, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm.
  • Banquet and Bar shifts may be available based on the needs of the client.
  • This is an 'On-Call' position. There is no guarantee of regular hours.
