The Manager Marketing role is a dynamic and strategic position within the Electric Power organization, responsible for supervising the development of marketing strategies and providing sales support. This role involves leading the Regional Marketing Communications events, Campaigns as well as the technical marketing for Electric Power.  This role involves requires cross-functional collaboration on the marketing strategy and alignment within the business segments of Electric Power.  The ideal candidate will utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, and lead and mentor staff. Additionally, the manager will manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support strategic initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Driving business growth outcomes for the Electric Power Division by creating and implementing marketing campaigns, Go-To-Market plans, event leadership and innovative marketing strategies.
  •  Leading the daily work and strategic direction of the employees focused on Cat Electric Power Marketing in Asia Pacific Region.
  • Ownership of annual marketing yearly plan on the page, calendar of events, metrics for success for the marketing region.  
  • Collaborate closely with Electric Power Segments (REPS, LEPS, Rental and ETCS) to align marketing initiatives with segment-specific goals and objectives.  This includes maintaining of governance with each of the segments to ensure marketing activities are aligned to key segment metrics and results are delivered.
  • Responsible for REPS technical marketing activities for successful NPI and DTO launches; review feedback and adjusts accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support Electric Power’s marketing objectives.
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Manage the team’s budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support strategic initiatives, annual budget planning process is proactive and metrics from the budget are met.
  • Presenting overall marketing plans and strategic direction for region to senior management for funding approval and support.
