Job Summary
The VP, Corporate Communications, Product will be responsible for shaping and executing high-impact communications strategies that enhance Comcast’s Connectivity (Residential Broadband, WiFi, and Mobile) & Platforms (Video) services and products to key audiences and stakeholders.Job Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy that aligns with business goals and reinforces Comcast’s leadership in broadband, wireless, and home connectivity and entertainment.
Partner closely with marketing, product, government affairs, investor relations and customer experience teams to ensure message alignment and maximize storytelling impact.
Lead proactive media relations and develop compelling narratives around products, including product launches, industry leadership (events), and customer impact.
Cultivate strong media relationships with national & trade media and tech & telecom reporters and analysts.
Manage press activities, interviews, media events, and product PR campaigns.
Position executives as thought-leaders through strategic speaking opportunities, bylined articles, and media appearances.
Provide counsel, messaging, and prep for executive interviews and public engagements.
Act as a key player in managing external communication during sensitive issues, crises, and industry developments.
Monitor media trends and competitive activity to inform strategy and protect brand reputation.
Manage external PR agencies and internal team members to deliver best-in-class communications strategies and execution.
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing communications team focused on innovation, impact, and collaboration.
Influence executive stakeholders and represent the product organization across Comcast and external partners.
