The Opportunity

Improve power quality of Industry to reduce losses/ improve reactive power compensation, mitigate harmonic distortion to provide clean power to customers

How you’ll make an impact

• Read project specific requirements. Need to study Offer stage documents, customer specification etc.
• Establish Single Line Diagram of system. Identification of correct rating for CT, PT, LA, CB, Isolator, Fuse, MCCB, MCB etc. for LV & MV system
• Developing Scheme with Closing & Tripping Interlock system of LV/MV APFC System
• Power Cable and Control Cable selection
• Protection Relay selection, Metering Instrument selection
• Selection of Communication Protocol of Protection Relays, Meters etc., establishing communication architecture
• Preparation of Sizing Calculation of various components, Preparation of Cable Schedule.
• Design co-ordination between APFC panel to Upstream Breaker, CRP, PLC Panel etc.
• Close co-ordination with Project team and Production team. Need to release drawings within specific time to meet project timelines.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• BE/B.Tech. – Electrical/Electrical & Electronics. With experience of 3 to 4 years in same or similar product design, ex. LV/MV Switchgear, PCC, LV/MV APFC, CRP, PLC etc.
• Candidate should be technically sound as well as interested in product design.
• Good knowledge on Autocad software
• Knowledge on Relay/PLC software will be added advantage
• Having brief knowledge on electrical schematic drawing of Air Circuit Breaker, Vacuum Circuit Breaker, SF6 Circuit Breaker, Isolator with Earth Switch
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and word.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
