Curtiss-Wright is looking for a Talent Sourcer (Contract) to join our high-volume Global Talent Acquisition Team! This key role will be primarily responsible for proactively sourcing, attracting and engaging candidates, to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent for our critical positions. Location: Pittsburgh (Cheswick) | Hybrid
 

Your Challenge

  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition and Business Partners to fully & quickly, understand talent needs and requirements.

  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, interests groups, Google X-Ray) with an exclusive focus on passive talent.

  • Recommend and execute sourcing strategies.

  • Create a “buzz” in the talent market by networking through industry related groups, specialty job boards, employer branding programs – get creative: always be sourcing.

  • Primarily source, cultivate, as well as conduct prescreens to recommend candidates to the Talent Acquisition Partner.

  • Perform market research to understand where diverse, external talent pools exist and work to execute on diversity sourcing initiatives to tap into those talent pools.

  • Participate in and coordinate job fairs for recruitment purposes

  • Keep detailed records and information on sourced talent.

  • Ensure compliance with all hiring policies, practices, and company values.

What You Bring

  • Must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.

  • Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer/Recruiter from within engineering or a technical field.

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to interact with all participants in the recruiting process

  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn, Recruiter, Indeed, and other professional networks.

  • Ability to quickly get up to speed and hit the ground running with a heavy workload and proven experience doing so.

  • Familiarity with sourcing for niche technical roles to effectively assess candidate qualifications.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a tenacious attitude for sourcing.

  • Ability to travel for job fairs as required.

  • Previous ATS experience (Workday preferred).

  • A quiet, secure, work from home space with the ability openly communicate.

  • Resilience for change and ambiguity to support the fast-paced changing needs of our business.
