This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
Comcast's Digital Equity team creates and executes strategies that support the company’s commitment to connecting millions of households to the power of broadband through programs like Internet Essentials and ProjectUP.
You’ll support the team in planning and executing strategies to elevate digital equity programs and community partnerships across Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Sky that connect people to the Internet, advance economic mobility, and open doors for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, storytellers, and creators. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thinks strategically and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and effectiveness. He/she must be an excellent writer who is passionate about social impact.
Role Description
As an intern on our Digital Equity team, you’ll gain exposure to the community impact and government affairs departments of a leading Fortune 40 company. Our 10–12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Help develop and execute strategy and special events around key company priorities, including Project UP and Internet Essentials
Draft memos on policy documents and research papers to inform our approach
Conduct analysis of data, interpret findings, and create presentations in partnership with our research team.
Prepare briefing documents for executive events.
Support other digital equity projects as assigned
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
Strong interpersonal, writing, and research skills.
Must have excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills
Must also be highly motivated self-starters, well-organized, detail-orientated,
Must have ability to interface with all levels of management
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Majors: All majors welcomed
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $30.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
