We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Tender & Commercial Manager (T&CM) to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the Nordics and Baltics region. This role involves engaging with both existing and new customer groups, promoting our innovative neuromodulation therapies, and positioning Abbott as the leading brand in the minds of healthcare professionals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Own the tender management process and ensure process compliance throughout the organization.
Provide education and coaching to sales and marketing on commercial and tender management issues and opportunities.
Lead strategic tender shaping projects to ensure alignment with the overall growth strategy in the region.
Lead all tender submissions and secure high-quality tender bids.
Monitor and manage contract compliance, collaborating with local sales teams to maximize sales and profitability.
Manage price/volume and mix to secure a healthy pricing structure within different markets and maximize success in upcoming tender opportunities.
Build trust-based, collaborative, and sustainable relationships with key non-clinical stakeholders to support and influence commercial outcomes.
Gain a greater understanding of local stakeholders, barriers, and constraints to build commercial solutions that capitalize on identified opportunities.
Meet with customers quarterly for contract reviews, ensuring compliance and addressing any required remedial activities.
Undertake customer meetings and tender de-briefs as required, leading on any resulting actions and activities.
Analyze tender submissions and competitor activities, monitoring general tender trends.
Establish strong working relationships cross-divisionally at all levels within Abbott, identifying cross-divisional opportunities, threats, and barriers, and supporting the development of appropriate solutions.
Support and drive stakeholder discussions to ensure market share opportunities are maximized to support the achievement of organizational business strategies.
Lead diverse commercial and tender management projects, supporting the Country Manager in executing the commercial strategy for Nordics and Baltics.
Education & Competencies:
A university business degree, or equivalent.
Business acumen and a competitive, solution-oriented mindset.
Experience in building and executing short- and long-term commercial plans with a successful track record.
Experience in a sales or commercial role within the Healthcare Industry.
Experience in tender management.
Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with managers, co-workers, and customer stakeholders at all levels.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and engage stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to project a professional image and have strong communication and leadership skills at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrate the authority, confidence, and intelligence required to deal directly with each customer group on general matters relating to tenders and contracts.
Excellent general computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Fluent in Swedish and excellent skills in English.
