Job Summary

Responsible for leading strategic partnership initiatives for Comcast Business. The individual will lead a cross-functional team(s) to identify, plan, negotiate, and launch several third-party partnerships for new B2B revenue growth opportunities. Identify and evaluate new market, product, and sales opportunities leveraging third-party partners. Evaluate product-market-sales fit of partnership opportunities. Negotiate commercial terms of partnerships and manage end-to-end process from ideation to launch. Partner with Comcast Business legal, product, sales, operations, and finance teams to establish and test partnerships. Develop business cases for initiatives identifying near and long-term revenue potential, profitability, and investment requirements. Present on opportunities and report out on progress of partnerships to Comcast Business senior leadership team. Manage team of direct and dotted-line resources. Evaluate potential for strategic investment and/or M&A with successful partners. Coordinate partnership evaluation within Comcast Business and with teams outside of Comcast Business including Strategic Development, Legal, Strategic Procurement, TPx, and Corporate Development teams.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Establishes and launches multiple third-party partnerships a year.
  • Defines vision, strategies and tactics of third-party partnership initiatives function.
  • Understands the organization's business operations, strategic direction and business environment to put partnership initiatives within appropriate strategic context.
  • Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans with the overall corporate plan.
  • Conducts or facilitates periodic reviews of achievements and performance versus the plans.
  • Conducts financial feasibility studies and appropriate due diligence to ensure the reliability of information provided by third parties.
  • Evaluates and develops new market initiatives and analyzes business opportunities.
  • Develops proposals, including feasibility studies, for new business opportunities.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
