The Opportunity:

CACI’s growing Agile Digital Solutions Operating Group is searching for an experienced OSINT Analyst supporting the modernization and sustainment of a large portfolio of enterprise business solutions used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The candidate will be part of a team where complex problem solving, and communication skills are critical to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting open-source information to provide actionable intelligence to support our organization’s mission.

  • Conduct in-depth open-source research using various tools, databases, and methodologies to gather relevant criminal intelligence.

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including data mining, link analysis, and pattern recognition, to uncover insights and connections within large datasets.

  • Monitor and analyze online sources, including social media platforms, news websites, forums, and blogs, to identify emerging threats, trends, and developments.

  • Evaluate the credibility, reliability, and relevance of collected information to produce accurate and timely criminal intelligence assessments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing investigations, operations, and decision-making processes.

  • Prepare clear and concise intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Stay abreast of current events, geopolitical dynamics, and technological advancements relevant to the intelligence landscape.

  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines while handling sensitive and classified information.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Candidates must be willing to undergo a thorough background investigation and maintain eligibility for access to classified information.

  • Maintain Certification in relevant areas such as Certified Open-Source Intelligence Professional (COSIP) or similar.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of OSINT principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Ability to employ excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.

  • Demonstrate Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and satisfy customer requirements while working under limited supervision. 

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Clearance TS/SCI

  • Previous experience in a relevant field such as Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or Computer Science and relevant experience in intelligence analysis, preferably focused on open-source intelligence working in a classified environment or supporting government agencies and experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data analysis techniques.

  • Proficiency in utilizing OSINT tools and platforms, such as PenLink/Tangles, Flashpoint, Open Corporates, I2, ShadowDragon/Horizon, sock puppets, and others would be needed.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
