What you'll do:

We are seeking a Risk Project Management and Governance professional who will manage projects and change efforts, and refine processes within the Credit Risk Management teams to increase efficiencies and coordination. The teams supported include the Quality Control, Rep & Warrants, Due Diligence, Credit Administration, Seller Counterparty Risk, and Seller Remedy teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Lead and manage Risk projects and initiatives by developing project plans and process flows
  • Coordinate initiatives with Operations Teams and 1.5 and 2nd Line
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests
  • Act as liaison for Operations and AmeriHome’s Technology Team
  • Develop processes and metrics and improve efficiencies, including capacity analysis and budgeting
  • Manage policies and procedures and issues management
  • Identify training opportunities for Credit Risk Management teams
  • Other functions and duties as assigned

What you need to have:

  • 5+ years mortgage industry experience, with minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Visio/LucidChart for process flows, and Microsoft Project or Smartsheets for project management
  • PMP certification, Six Sigma certification, or similar experience with project management and process improvement
  • SalesForce knowledge desired, but not required
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with various stakeholders across the enterprise (1st line Operations, 2nd line Risk and Compliance, Technology)
  • Strong problem solving and analytic skills, including full proficiency in Excel
  • Awareness of Mortgage Lending industry Risk Management principles and requirements
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Highly motivated, strong prioritization, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $139,530.00 - $164,150.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
