Description

We are looking for a motivated mechanical engineering student to work as an intern in the Hardware Quality team, for the Large Format printing products, in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain.

Generic Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop Finite Element models to simulate a range of mechanical loads applied to structural components

• Define and plan relevant mechanical tests for model correlation and iterative tuning

• Teamwork: be an excellent team player

Required Qualifications:

• Currently studying Bachelor's or Master's degree in degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Availability to establish internship agreement with University during 6-12 months, either on a part-time or full-time basis.

• Demonstrated analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.

• Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Ansys, CFD, MatLab, statistical analysis.

• Knowledge in Python would be a plus.

• Team player

• Creative problem solving

• Methodical and able to organize and prioritize tasks

• Basic knowledge of research methodology

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
