Job Background

The Treasury Global Process Owner/Transformation Office works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Treasury activities, which span global Treasury groups, Finance functions, infrastructure partners in EIO&T and business partners in ICG and GCB.  The team leads Treasury’s regulatory agenda and internal reviews to identify priorities, coordinate efforts and track progress, and define and implement best practices.   

Treasury is creating a new role within the Global Process Owner/Transformation Office to drive execution of the regulatory remediation program for Interest Rate Risk, with a particular focus on implementing a new centralized system for funds transfer pricing (“FTP”).

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues in Treasury, the businesses, Risk, and Controllers to understand and document FTP system requirements, including any required enhancements to inbound data sources
  • Assess the impact of the new system on existing processes and platforms; identify and document gaps between current and target state processes
  • Develop detailed roll-out plan to implement the new FTP system, including downstream feeds to risk calculators and financial reporting systems/ledgers
  • Provide oversight of milestones and input to ensure consistent and timely resolution of deliverables
  • Provide training and guidance to the local teams that will be integrating the new system into the financial reporting, risk reporting, and business management processes
  • Produce high quality, senior management materials to communicate project status clearly and concisely
  • Coordinate across workstreams to ensure that Interest Rate Risk methodology changes and enhancements are implemented consistently

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of financial services experience
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of VBA and SQL is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide variety of people across functions / seniority
  • Prior experience in Treasury, Finance, or Interest Rate Risk is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business units / functions to deliver results
  • High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress
