About the role:

Skydio is seeking a talented multi-disciplinary program manager to ensure successful outcomes for projects within the Operations organization including new products and sustaining activities. In this role, your contributions will drive quality, speed to market, productivity, production volumes, scaling of manufacturing operations, and profitability.

How you'll make an impact:

• Work with cross-functional product, marketing, customer service, R&D, and operations teams to define and lead the detailed development and implementation plan for new projects, providing operations input and guidance
• Define objectives and metrics for projects with clear exit criteria for each phase to meet schedule, cost, quality, and capacity targets. Run internal operations and production readiness meetings
• Help drive manufacturing and quality process development, ensuring deliverables are being completed on time for a successful project completion. Track progress, communicate, and escalate issues as appropriate throughout the project cycle
• Collaborate with cross functional program managers to run program review meetings, providing succinct status updates, soliciting critical input, and communicating risks
• Coordinate post-ramp qualification activities including ECO implementations, line trials, and system level testing
• Coordinate sustaining activities including international expansion, transition of products to contract manufacturers, and end of life planning

What makes you a strong fit:

• Functional understanding of manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering roles throughout the product development process
• Strong electro-mechanical PM background, preferably with consumer and industrial electronics
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Analytical and detail oriented. Ability to identify or develop tools for coordinating and tracking project progress
• Demonstrated excellence in managing day to day operations
• Ability to remain flexible, calm, and creative in the face of uncertainty

• The annual base salary range for this position (spanning multiple experience levels) is $140,000 - 180,000*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
