Job Description:

The Role: 

1. Responsible for Slurry HVM (high volume manufacturing) process, including SOP review & creation, process improvement and maintain product quality with statistics tools, etc. 

2. Provide support to the operations and quality groups for troubleshooting, continuous improvement, process control, and management of changes. 

3. A capital project leader to meet NPI (new product introduction) development scheduling and sample supply timeline. 

4. Develop and implement state-of-art technologies in manufacturing to improve product cost, quality and consistency.  

In this role you will: 

1. Lead SPC review for issue solving and quality control.  

2. Drive continuous improvement of cost and quality in the existing manufacturing process and enhance final product quality through quick and efficient responsiveness and troubleshooting related to performance issues. 

3. Fully support the NPI sample delivery and the SVM (small volume manufacturing)/NPI transition to HVM on schedule. 

4. Lead (capital) projects for safety, process and productivity improvement. Join the project team of new product and new process introduction, and coordinate with manufacturing, quality and related functions to achieve the business goal.  

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

1. Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred, majoring in chemical engineering related is preferred or chemicals profession 

2. Expertise in SPC (statistical process control), 6 sigma methodology and big data analysis. Ability to focus and summarize complex data sets towards key decision points and actions. 

3. Experience with process control methodologies used in continuous or batch chemical operations. 

4. Experience with leading capital project, process design and construction is a plus. 

5. Ability of communication (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in English.
