Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced program manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving and communicating our diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives both internally and externally, as well as supporting our North Americea and EMEA talent acquisition strategy. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategic programs to promote a culture of inclusivity, engage diverse audiences and reinforce our commitment to DEI principles to recruit and retain exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support DEI and TA initiatives
    • Partner with senior leadership to ensure DEI messages align with company goals and values
    • Create and manage a DEI communication calendar, including key milestones, events, and campaigns
    • Create and manage a DEI survey and awards strategy
    • Serve as a DEI strategic partner to one of Micron’s employee resource groups

  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Produce high-quality content for various channels, including newsletters, social media, internal portals, and press releases
    • Oversee the creation of DEI reports, presentations, and other collateral
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy in all DEI-related communications
  • Internal Communication:
    • Foster an inclusive company culture by communicating DEI programs and policies to team members
    • Collaborate with the People Team and other departments to integrate DEI messaging into team member communication and training materials
    • Develop and maintain an internal DEI communication toolkit, especially for ERGs

  • External Communication:
    • Promote the company's DEI initiatives and achievements to external stakeholders, including clients, partners and the public
    • Manage relationships with external stakeholders to enhance the company’s DEI brand and reputation
    • Coordinate DEI-related events and speaking engagements for company representatives

  • Measurement and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze the effectiveness of DEI communication strategies and campaigns
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on DEI communication metrics and outcomes
    • Continuously improve communication strategies based on feedback and performance data

  • Leadership:
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment
    • Navigate Micron’s highly matrixed and complex global environment to coordinate effectively with key stakeholders
    • Lead through influence to manage project team performance

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, marketing or a related field
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in communication
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies
    • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    • Strong understanding of DEI principles and best practices
    • Experience with media relations and social media management

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in a leadership role within a large, diverse organization
    • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms

Certification in DEI or related fields
