Responsible for maintenance, testing the medical devices, eCOA devices which returned from the sites. Support another team member.

To provide ongoing support in the areas of equipment maintenance, record and mail administration and inventory management.  To maintain equipment, arrange equipment recalls, and provide supplies of material to sites.  To manage document storage and retrieval of archive material.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Equipment Maintenance – Ensure all equipment assets are in working order and are prepared for study use.  Monitor the equipment area by retaining equipment that is in need of testing and releasing functional equipment into Clario stock.

  • Record incoming equipment serial numbers and other details.

  • Perform cleaning, testing and maintenance of returned equipment.

  • Ensure that all equipment batteries are recharged.

  • Prepare documentation for vendor repairs.

  • Inventory – Ensure Logistics inventory areas are stocked and organized.

  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure correct levels of supplies are available.

  • Ensure all supplies are stored in the proper conditions, in the correct location and in a tidy manner.

  • Data Entry – Complete the input of Logistics equipment and supply inventory related movements along with other associated tracking data.  

  • Undertake data entry as defined by daily work patterns. This will include: Inventory Systems, Courier Systems, Support Magic Incidents and any others as defined by management.

  • Complete any database investigations as required.

  • Review tracking details for shipments and report any problems or delays to the appropriate person and/or department.

  • Cross Training for other duties when applicable

  • Metrics – Responsible for accurate entry of metrics on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

  • A two-year degree desired in the US or at least 1 year work experience in an equipment maintenance setting.

  • Good organizational and communication skills.

  • Must be accurate with attention to detail.

  • Good presentation skills and professional approach.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and experience of working with databases.  Must also be able to navigate through computer directories and the Internet.

  • Flexible, dependable and the ability to manage workload within client deadlines.

  • Ability to lift and pack equipment weighing up to 50lb or 20kgs.

  • Ability to travel if required.
