Technical Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience in Data Engineering of highly scalable data platforms/ecosystems.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Snowflake with knowledge in distributed computing preferred.
  • Working Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, and/or Power BI.
  • Be able to operate as a Fullstack BI engineer when need be.
  • Familiarity with working with GTM data and exposure to Salesforce.
  • Hands-on experience on Python , Pyspark.
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein Analytics & SOQL is value add.
  • Having done Quality Assurance in prior roles as additional responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database table design – able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
  • Demonstrated innate passion for Data Engineering and data architecture pertaining to Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Cloud data solutions, data engineering, data platforms and analytics and modern ways of automating data ingesting using cloud-based and on-premise technologies.
  • Experience in a role performing data warehouse and analytics solution design and development using a variety of techniques.
  • Understanding of data architecture design, data modeling, and physical database design and tuning.
  • Work with data warehouse architects, data scientists, and data collection application engineers. 
  • Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.
  • Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and reporting solutions.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong communication skills.
  • An ability to talk both to the technical teams responsible for the data and comfortable explaining data and conclusions to non-technical teams.
  • Snowflake Certified preferred not mandatory.
  • Experience with Cloud Database systems like Snowflake or AWS Redshift will be a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or a related field.

This is a full time position and the candidate is expected to report into Pure Storage’s Bangalore Office.
