THE OPPORTUNITY

Imagine being a part of the Business team, where you collaborate on various financial projects with experienced finance experts, legal counsellors, logistic professionals, and business operation architects who work with the core data of our organization. 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part-time Financial Accountant based in the UK. In this role, you will manage end-to-end accounting, ensure accurate monthly reporting, and support key financial processes, including audits, tax filings, and budgeting for our UK entity. 

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You will manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable including claims management 
  • You will check and post travel expense reports as well as bank account statements 
  • You will take ownership of the creation and execution of payment runs 
  • You will take over the reconciliation and clarification of supplier and customer accounts 
  • You will take responsibility for the creation of monthly and annual reporting, as well as support the yearly budget and audit procedures 

 

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • Professional finance qualifications such as the ACA/ CIMA or equivalent 
  • Ideally, you have already gained a few years of relevant professional experience with a good understanding of UK GAAP and/ or IFRS and distinguish yourself with your reliable and structured way of working 
  • You have good knowledge of an accounting software (e.g. MS Dynamics F&O) and MS Office 
  • You have previous work experience in the field of taxes and VAT  
  • You are also business fluent in English
