Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead or Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Everett, Washington.

An opportunity to join a highly skilled cross functional team, representing Supply Chain for a capability update on KC-46. This role will be expected to travel onsite to a supplier in Wilsonville, Oregon up to 4 weeks a month or be on a temporary assignment at the location. This role will help in the integration and development execution for the Remote Vision System capability improvement for the KC-46 platform.

Position Responsibilities – Lead Level 4:

  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
  • Develops current and projected work statement.
  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Develops and executes work movement plans.
  • Manages and validates metrics associated with the development effort.

Position Responsibilities – Senior Level 5:

  • Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
  • Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.
  • Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
  • Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.
  • Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.
  • Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Manages work movement plans.
  • Manages and validates metrics associated with the development effort.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Lead Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Senior Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • More than 5 years of experience in program management within supplier management.
  • More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action.
  • More than 5 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity.
  • Electrical or Computer Engineering Degree
  • Experience in System Design, Hardware and Software Architecture.

Typical Education/Experience:

Lead Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 100% of the time.

Summary pay range for Lead Level 4: $118,1500 - $145,950

Summary pay range for Senior Level 5: $137,700 - $170,100
