The Workplace Hospitality team is driven to provide exceptional customer service in a world-class corporate environment. The Workplace Hospitality team will facilitate and enhance associate experiences and connections to teams, workplaces, and moments that celebrate our culture and purpose. This team will also coordinate corporate services and programs across the facilities to offer associates a productive place to work.  

 

The Sr. Program Manager, Workplace Hospitality will join the Walmart Corporate Real Estate team and have primary responsibility to receive and manage space booking requests and assists clients and business groups with requirements for the usage of the space (catering, logistics, AV Support).  They will have responsibility for providing exceptional service and ensuring seamless business meetings throughout our managed spaces on campus. This role will be highly visible at the Home Office campus in Bentonville. This includes Sam Walton Hall, Neighborhood Meeting rooms, and Helen’s Amphitheatre. 

 

What you'll do: Be highly visible and available. You will develop and manage a best-in-class, streamlined, data driven meeting room booking process for the Corporate Real Estate portfolio to adapt and implement globally 

 

Leadership & Team Management: 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionals. 

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. 

 

Space Operations: 

  • Oversee daily operations of offered services, ensuring compliance with company policies and    standards. 

  • Ensure that buildings and spaces are business ready daily and includes ensuring that all spaces are working properly and clean.  

  • Review client intake forms, identifying and securing spaces 

  • Promptly responding and coordinating additional details with client.  

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that may arise before, during, or after the event. 

  • Onsite to help execute events, meetings, and space activations.  

  • Maintain inventory and best use case types for spaces. 

  • Evaluate uses of each space, propose any enhancements or changes. 

  • Address client feedback and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction. 

  • Evaluate event performance and outcomes and provide feedback and reports.  

  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve guest engagement and loyalty. 

  • Work with Facilities Management team on resolving tenant work orders regarding workplace operations and maintenance. 

  • Monitor and control budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation. 

  • Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to continually enhance the associate’s experience. 

  • Develop marketing and business plans to maximize space utilization across extra-large and larger bookable spaces.  

  • Regularly check in with key vendors, giving feedback and getting training on new or updated products/services.  

 

Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Work with cross functional departments to ensure seamless service delivery. 

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including vendors, staff, and management. 

  • Represent the Corporate Real Estate Hospitality department in meetings and company events. 

  • Manage key relationships for all catering, logistics, AV Support, etc.  

  • Be informed on all events and meetings taking place on campus, dedicate additional resources as need to provide exceptional experience

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 5+ years in hospitality or event booking leadership role 

  • Experience in event sales, execution, or related fields 

  • Experienced people manager 

  • Project management experience or certification (PMP)  

  • Passionate about event planning and vendor coordination

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.
