Impact

As a Manager, Strategic Planning and Growth Operations you will be responsible for supporting the shaping of the Growth team’s strategic direction, stewarding the Growth team’s key bodies of work forward, and implementing operating SOPs (standardized operating procedures). You will primarily be responsible for ensuring progress is made in the Growth Team’s key planning moments and deliverables. Your ability to track progress and business performance, along with strong strategic thinking, will be critical in guiding the Growth team’s success for Shipt. This role will also be a key agent for influencing change management for how we plan, execute, and measure the Growth team’s strategies and success. This position reports directly to the Director of Strategy Planning and Growth Operations.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to assist with goal development, and implement strategic plans and initiatives aligned with the Growth team’s vision, mission, and goals

  • Collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams; demonstrated ability to gain alignment with leadership to gather input and insights and ensure strategic alignment across departments

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong project management skills to drive the implementation of strategic initiatives. Project work includes:

    • Managing large key deliverables/projects for the Growth team by overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they align with business goals

    • Manage process improvement by analyzing existing processes and identify areas for improvement; implement best practices

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

  • Familiarity with industry best practices, trends, emerging technologies and strategic planning software and tools

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and change management, or related roles, preferably in a similar industry

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, paid holidays throughout the calendar year and paid sick leave.  Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City: 

$86,357-$172,715

All other locations:

$72,035-$143,964

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
