Why is this Position Important?

Reporting directly to the Director, Clinical Innovation and Strategy, you collaborate with Project Management and Clinical Leadership teams to support SHN’s strategic plans and operational efficiencies to ensure excellent delivery of all clinically led program launches.  This challenging role works directly with many areas of the business and levels within the organization to drive and deliver a culture of continuous improvement that results in employee and client satisfaction, efficiency, and effectiveness.  

This position requires the ability to balance strategic thinking and meticulous execution, and a strong ability to collaborate and influence.  You are a key contributor to a high-performance team that is innovative, accountable, responsive, and customer focused. You are required to lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering their growth and development.

What You Will Do:

  • Respond to a rapidly changing market with innovation to enhance existing programs and ensure program launch excellence
  • Assess, develop improvement plans and provide recommendations to enhance existing clinically led programs and drive efficiencies in coordination with the Director, Clinical Effectiveness
  • Ensure program and customer-service excellence
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and/or other metrics to describe and ensure the impact of change is effectively measured and sustained
  • Work closely with other teams in the business to help identify new tools, processes, and initiatives to drive efficiencies, gather feedback, test new initiatives, and manage communications for ongoing projects
  • Provide leadership across the portfolio to ensure consistency of best practices and continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and standards
  • As a leader, you will be required to lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring their growth and success
  • Lead or participate in special projects as required
  • Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures
  • Flexibility may be required, working outside of regular hour to support special projects or program launches

What You Will Need:

  • BScN preferred, however a combination of experience and education will be considered
  • Current, unrestricted, professional nursing license in the province of work
  • Extensive experience in the Specialty Pharmaceutical industry and with Patient Support Programs
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare system
  • Minimum of 5 years people management experience
  • Ability to foster an organizational culture that emphasizes innovation, continuous learning, collaboration, transparency, accountability, and trust while promoting a strong code of ethics and integrity to support service excellence
  • Extensive experience making critical and strategic decisions, demonstrating innovation and results orientated leadership, and fiscal accountability
  • Passion for enabling highly effective management and leadership processes and driving organizational change.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, supervising, motivating, coaching, and holding accountable, at team of professionals, while supporting employee engagement and development.
  • Ability to influence mid-level to senior management through personal interactions and the creation and delivery of presentations.
  • Ability to create simple and effective business communications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Proven ability to deliver business results by driving operational change
  • Superior consulting and advisory skills; ability to think conceptually, handle ambiguity, solve complex problems, and make thoughtful recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to implement and drive change, including demonstrated experience and knowledge of change management principles.
  • Flexibility may be required, working outside of regular hour to support special projects or program launches
  • Bilingualism is an asset Some travel required
