The Impact

S&P Global Sustainable1 demand generation & event specialists are producers of key marketing campaigns that support commercial goals. The role will work under the direction of the Sustainable1 Regional Marketing Director, APAC, and partner closely with commercial, product, and marketing colleagues from across S&P Global business divisions.  The role will develop and implement various campaigns to engage clients & prospects, drive lead generation, organize events, and align with the larger sustainability business strategy. Key responsibilities include developing the annual demand generation plan for ASEAN, developing a strategic event engagement program in collaboration with the Regional Marketing Director, APAC, and execute multi-channel, thematic and persona-based campaigns, that span digital, social, events and webinars.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing communications – Design and implement creative, multi-channel ESG marketing programs that caters to different information needs of regions, segments and persona. Be the bridge between global marketing and local market needs. Localize global and regional content into local ASEAN region context that effectively serves the target client segment.
  • Event support & management - Work closely with the events team to innovate and execute a virtual and in-person sustainability event program, including webinars, roundtables and third-party conferences. This includes pre-event/ post communication, driving registrations, generating leads, and reporting on key event KPIs.
  • Campaign content – Produce engaging and differentiated web and advertising copy, social posts especially on LinkedIn, video content, and email campaigns aligned to the business’ ESG growth strategy.  Analyse and measure performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
  • Sales enablement – Develop and localise materials to help commercial teams communicate the value proposition of ESG products and support the selling process of those products.
  • Cross functional teams – Collaborate with cross-divisional marketing and functional teams to deliver joined-up sustainability marketing activities and provide timely reports on project impact.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketer with a passion for ESG. Strong business acumen and ability to work with different stakeholders to achieve business results are critical. Excellent written and communication skills, as well as the ability to be a strong individual leader and contributor are important. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to craft compelling messaging relevant for local context and leverage the full complement of marketing channels. Knowledge on LinkedIn marketing and familiarity with platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce and Hootsuite (or comparable platforms) are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred
  • 3 years of experience in marketing, events, business, or commercial functions
  • Experience of being a results-driven individual contributor within a big organization and ability to start a program from zero to one 
  • Good understanding of the industries and markets covered by S&P Global
  • Understanding of ESG and sustainability trends, industry groups, and regulatory development
  • Technical knowledge and willingness to learn ESG factors, such as Carbon Emissions, Physical Risk, ESG Scores Experience in developing an annual marketing plan and budget; experience in budget management
  • Experience in writing marketing copy that clearly communicates a product’s benefits and unique selling proposition
  • Knowledge of print, digital, social, and event channels used to build B2B marketing campaigns
  • Strong presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others beyond one’s reporting line
  • Self-motivated and results oriented, with a positive, "can do" attitude and creative approach to problem solving.
  • Team player
  • Fluent written and spoken English, additional language proficiency relevant to the APAC region desirable.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM. Marketo marketing automation and Cvent a plus
