Job Description Summary

The Aero Industrialization Senior Engineer at GE Vernova plays a pivotal role in the execution of repair and replacement part solutions for GEV’s Aeroderivative gas turbine platforms including the LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100. This position demands effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Design Engineering, Materials Technology, and Supply Chain teams, to ensure seamless integration and execution of industrialization projects. This role will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives associated with the broader Aero business line.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The role combines strategic leadership with tactical execution, focusing on repair development and replacement part design engineering for Aeroderivative gas turbines.  The Aero Industrialization Senior Engineer will spearhead the execution of the Industrialization program, ensuring horizontal integration across Aero Product Management, Gas Turbine Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. This role will also serve as a visible champion for various Industrialization initiatives.

  • Drive collaboration, alignment and execution across the horizontal functions in the Gas Power business with strong focus on Quality & Delivery.
  • Own the development and update of integrated repair and spare parts industrialization schedule, resource identification, and priority discussions from conception through Qualifications, service shop implementations and fleet leader tracking.
  • Manage Spares and Repairs Industrialization program schedules that meet Aero business objectives.
  • Coordinate deliverables, execution, and detailed schedules with Gas Turbine Engineering, Materials, and Supply Chain, providing visibility to critical path activities to ensure that industrialization milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with GTE Module Teams and Supply Chain teams to proactively manage design and developmental technical risks, schedule risks, supporting related problem-solving activities.
  • Lead the presentation of execution risks in Monthly Operating Rhythms and other daily management forums.
  • Clearly communicate Spares and Repair Industrialization requirements to all aspects of the Engineering organization, with continued refinement throughout the effort
  • Encourage creativity around ways to improve efficiency and speed throughout the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of technical experience.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
