JOB TITLE: Tech Engineer 4 – Infra
LOCATION: Mumbai

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and maintaining database systems, with a strong focus on Oracle DB, to ensure their performance, availability, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of database management, optimization, and best practices

REPORTING TO: Associate Director - Tech Infra

KEY RESPONSBILITIES: 
    Act as a key point of contact for the DB operations to ensure appropriate prioritization, high level support and timely resolution of open items
    Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems, with a focus on Oracle DB, to support applications and services
    Ensure database performance, availability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and tuning
    Develop and implement database security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data
    Perform regular database backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested
    Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and implement database solutions
    Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
    Enforce standards and best practices for availability, security, backup and recovery
    Perform a variety of tasks relying on experience and judgment to manage time, plan and accomplish goals on several projects
    Coordinate Internal and External Audit / SOX /Compliance reviews
    Evaluate and enhance processes and procedures on an ongoing basis
    collaborate with application teams to tune SQL to ensure minimal resource consumption and optimal throughput.
    Stay updated with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices
