BIETC is currently looking for Experienced Spares Engineering Specialist to join at Chennai location. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.

Job Description:      
As a member of the team, you will directly contribute to the analysis of engineering data, top-down breakdown of provisioned items and utilize knowledge of aircraft parts, components, and maintenance data.  Provisioning provides the customer with the analytical decisions that enable the identification of affordable inventory requirements.  Provisioning has impact on several supportability efforts which must be in place upon delivery of the aircraft as well as life cycle demands.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop support solutions and products including support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions and maintenance, inspection, and support technical data.
•    Loading of pertinent data to Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) format and/or Logistics Integration Capability (SLIC) database or LSA-036 format to reflect new provisioning data while maintaining a top-down breakdown relationship.
•    Load procurable items to the appropriate system in the Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) GEIA-STD-0007 Systems and Logistics Integration Capability (SLIC) database or comparable format.
•    Determine spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendation for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking.
•    Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components.
•    Prepare technical documents, provisioning plans, maintenance plans, illustrated parts breakdowns, support plans, and briefings while adhering to company policies and procedures.
•    Determines spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers.
•    Apply knowledge of individual customer requirements, supplier capabilities, product configuration, maintenance manuals, warranty policies and procedures.
•    Reviews and evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type and system specialty. 
•    The candidate has to interface with stake holders, equipment suppliers, and Boeing engineering and manufacturing organizations to ensure delivery of spares engineering products.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•    Bachelor’s Degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or equivalent is required as a basic qualification. 
•    Experience in using Engineering drawings, Service Bulletins, specifications, and any other engineering sources to research, analyze, and interpret to include the information in Publications. 
•    Candidates with Aircraft provisioning experience are preferred.
•    Candidates with exposure to Department of Defense provisioning standards such as MIL-STD-1388-2B or GEIA-STD-0007 are preferred.
•    Experience in creating, revising, and reviewing IPC/IPD and ATA100/iSpec2200/ S1000D standards.
•    Basic understanding of Aircraft maintenance and/or supply chain functions.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•    Bachelor's degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). 

Typical Education/Experience:
An individual with more than 9 years of relevant work experience, with education typically gained through advanced technical programs (e.g., a Bachelor’s degree) or an equivalent combination of technical education (e.g., AME certification) and experience in the Aviation/Aerospace industry.
