Senior Manager of Marketing, France (Head of France Field Marketing)
The Red Hat EMEA Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager to join us in Paris. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the marketing capability and strategy across France. You'll develop and implement integrated marketing programs and campaigns (locally developed or centrally provided) for direct customers and our channel business partners, including goals, lead management, budget, and measurement. These programs and campaigns will support the local, regional and global business plans, covering customer events and trade shows, campaigns, promotions, advertisement, direct mailings, online communication, and PR, in cooperation with the EMEA Marketing team. As a Marketing Manager, you will see your direct impact on achieving our exponential business growth by teaming with other EMEA marketing team members and our sales leadership in France.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Engage closely with regional and country business leaders, be the trusted advisor for all questions and topics related to marketing
Ensure the regional marketing strategy and plan is aligned with local business priorities in order to be able to demonstrate the contribution delivered by the marketing team
Engage with the French country manager, senior sales and channel sales leadership to define, prioritize, and implement marketing programs and campaigns both with our customers and regional ecosystem
Guide your team by using Open Management Principles, build and manage career development and enablement plans, provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to your team
Prioritize marketing investment based on available market insights and data-driven principles
Manage stakeholders on French, EMEA and global levels in order to secure the right level of support for your team and the execution of your strategy
Deliver objectives for net new pipeline, renewals, contacts and growth
Implement and maintain a strong management system, including the delivery of your regional plan, budget management and compliance, regional event calendar, new client references, etc.
Lead France wide campaigns and projects yourself and use them to demonstrate high quality standards and leadership skills
Required Skills
8+ years of marketing and communications experience in the enterprise software market and previous experience in the local French market
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field is an advantage
Experience in delivering both direct and indirect campaigns
Ability to identify and address market opportunities and help define go to market plans
Demonstrate ability to provide clear direction and context to your team within a fast paced and complex marketplace
Experience in making data driven decisions based on available market intelligence, data on customer buying behavior and lead generation data
Excellent communications and presentation skills, ability to communicate to internal stakeholders, but also external audiences, for example giving a presentation at external events
Solid understanding of the marketing funnel and the type of activities suitable for each stage
Extensive exposure to events planning and management
Experience with end-to-end campaign management and reporting
Successful track record of building relationships with senior sales management and collaborating on the definition and prioritization of the marketing programs while managing expectations to ensure realistic commitments are set
Willingness to travel: 10-20%
Prepared to work from the Puteaux office 3 days a week if not working in the field
Fluent in French and English – additional languages are a plus
