The Opportunity
As a Technical Project Manager & Team Lead, you will play a dual role that balances high-level project execution with people leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring compliant, professional services for our customers while developing a high-performing team of Field Service Engineers.

Lead and develop your team: You will recruit, coach, and mentor a team of engineers, managing workload balance and fostering an inclusive environment that reflects Roche values.
Drive technical projects: You will manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including tender preparation, site assessments, and end-to-end implementation of laboratory technology.
Ensure operational excellence: You will oversee the delivery of hardware and software services, monitoring KPIs and service cases in the Rexis system to guarantee high-quality support.
Mitigate risks and ensure compliance: You will proactively identify project risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure all activities meet legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
Collaborate across boundaries: You will build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to regional or global projects to enhance Roche’s market position.
Who you are
Experienced Leader: You have a proven track record in leading and developing teams, with the ability to motivate others and facilitate professional growth.
Technical Expert: You hold a BSc/MSc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar) and have 3-5 years of experience in laboratory technology or medical devices.
Project Specialist: You are proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on delivering outcomes in complex, changing environments.
Strategic Thinker: You possess a growth mindset and the ability to think at an enterprise level, identifying business development opportunities within the healthcare system.
Strong Communicator: You are fluent in Hungarian and proficient in English, with the interpersonal intelligence needed to build sustainable relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Mobile and Flexible: You are willing to work in a field-based environment across Hungary to support our customers where they need us most.
Location: This position is based in Budapest. Relocation Assistance is not available.
