Location - On-site Noida OR Bengaluru

Reporting into the Senior Director of HR Business Partnering based in the UK, you will work in partnership with the local management teams in Noida and Bengaluru, and the the global HR Team to deliver a proactive and high-quality HR service. By combining your HR knowledge and expertise with a strong understanding of the business needs and objectives you’ll help develop solutions that support and enable BlackBerry’s success.

This role will require you to help leaders hire, onboard, develop and retain talent. It will also involve helping develop and maintain a positive culture at both sites centered around teamwork and a commitment to delivery.

You will lead the cyclical HR processes for both Noida and Bengaluru, as well as having the opportunity to contribute to company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g. workforce planning & organizational change).

You will:

  • Provide end-to-end HR support BlackBerry’s operation in Noida and Bengaluru.
  • Partner with people leaders and the wider HR team on all corporate HR programs and policies (e.g. compensation, benefits, hiring activity, employee relations etc.).
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in the full recruitment cycle and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Keep up to date on topics including employment law, regulations and workplace safety.
  • Work in partnership with HR colleagues to support the delivery of HR Services to other BlackBerry locations within the APAC region as required.
  • Ad hoc reporting and administration activities as required to ensure the effective delivery of HR Services within BlackBerry’s Noida and Bengaluru sites.

You will have:

  • Degree/professional qualification in HR (or related field), ideally with experience working for a North American head-quartered software company
  • Substantial experience in an all-encompassing HR role, that has had a focus on talent acquisition and employee relations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of local employment law and Governmental/compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated the ability to build positive and productive relationships internally and externally, including with a geographically distributed HR team
  • Results oriented approach with proven problem solving, analytical organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a desire to keep learning new things
  • Strong digital literacy – including Microsoft Word and Excel and experience of Workday or a similar HR information system.
  • Experience of managing projects would be an advantage as would proficiency in APAC another language but neither is essential.
