Job Responsibilities:

Trade Execution

• Make markets to clients via Sales team for Asia ex-Japan Credit Bonds with the underlying scope to be agreed with the department head.

• Ensure correct trade capture and settlement

Risk Management

• Trading book risk management for Asia Credit within limits and strategies set by the Department head

• Assess credit risk on specific bonds.

• Work with global sales team and overnight credit trader in US for risk recycling

• Act as a back-up trader to risk manage other trading books for holiday coverage

Business Development

• Prepare and send out trading commentary on Asia ex-Japan Credit

• Support Business unit head with business strategy for the Asia Credit trading business.

• Support Sales in client expansion via client visits

• Achieve trading revenue budget

• Provide market pricing and colour to Bond DCM and Syndicate to support primary activities and support new issue secondary markets.

Job Requirements:

• 5y+ experience in Asia IG Credit bond trading including time spent at a sell-side institution.

• Asia IG experience include: Chinese, Korean, SE Asia, India.

• Track record of trading revenue performance and risk recycling.

• Knowledge and relationship of key investors for Asia IG Credit in Asia Region.

• Currently located in Hong Kong or in Singapore with flexibility to move to Hong Kong.
