Job Overview
Join a small, agile team of HR M&A practitioners dedicated to guiding and supporting HR Leads and HR Partners in planning and executing successful integrations. This team also develops and maintains HR M&A processes, tools, deliverables, training, and vendor relationships. As HR M&A Integration Business Partner, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless transitions for acquired employees and managers, while driving cultural alignment and process improvements.
Essential Functions
• Develop comprehensive integration plans during HR M&A due diligence.
• Collaborate with HR Deal Leads and local HR to ensure alignment and integration readiness.
• Prepare local HR teams for integration tasks and harmonization timelines.
• Support addressing bandwidth and capacity issues for HRBPs during integration.
• Champion cultural integration and change management, guiding local HR through transitions.
• Own and drive execution of integration plans.
• Provide ongoing support and coaching to HRBPs.
• Participate in key integration meetings with leaders and employees.
• Ensure best-in-class experience for acquired managers and employees.
o Support HR communications, ensuring clarity and consistency.
o Clarify HR processes and points of contact for acquired employees.
o Help facilitate discussions on job architecture and new job titles.
o Highlight the benefits of IQVIA’s policies and practices.
o Ensure smooth onboarding for acquired employees.
• Identify cultural gaps using cultural assessment tools and develop plans to support cultural assimilation and drive talent retention strategies.
• Partner with HR Leads and business leaders on organizational and workforce planning.
• Monitor and report on integration progress.
• Identify and implement HR integration process improvements and long-term process efficiencies, including leveraging technology and AI.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8 years of experience within an HR function as generalist or combination of generalist and specialist including experience operating with senior/executive management teams required.
• Proven experience in HR M&A integration.
• Strong HR Business Partner (HRBP) background.
• Deep understanding of HR processes and practices.
• Knowledge of HR compliance and process design.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Global mindset, high emotional intelligence, and cultural sensitivity.
• Passion for delivering exceptional employee experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
