We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team! This role will be responsible for providing complex data analysis, deeply insightful and actionable insights, informing data science operations, and providing strategic guidance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Independently interacts with client management to prioritize projects, tasks and deliverables.
  • Independently leads project meetings to ensure alignment with client expectations and timelines.
  • Independently executes data analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Interprets results and presents to the both internal and external clients.
  • Interface with business partners and programming staffs to determine data-related requirements and priorities.
  • Recommend and document business rules required to process and store new data.
  • Documents data requirements and assist in in translating to IT specs.
  • Test database changes prior to implantation.
  • Monitor data flows for quality issues.
  • Develop/enhance data quality reports.
  • Perform Root Cause analysis and investigation on data quality issues.
  • Create end-user documentation for database operations process.
  • Additional duties as required for the efficient, smooth and timely flow of work and information.
  • Analytical support of client portfolio.
  • Integrating data from diverse sources from multiple platforms.
  • Preparation of analysis and reports and presentation to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work directly with Business &Technical leads to gather requirements
  • Ability to plan and develop new metric reports that generate business value
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Business & Technical leads
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and be able to support all aspects of digital analytics operations.
  •  Additional duties as required for the efficient, smooth and timely flow of work and information

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with data/statistical analysis.
  • Highly proficient utilizing SQL and Python to manipulate, arrange, query and present data
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud environment and BigQuery
  • Familiarity with large data structures
  • Experience in data quality and problem solving.
  • Comfortable at working with people at different client organizational levels
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to present data.
  • Three to five years presenting clear and concise data analysis to management.
  • Three to five years interacting with both business and technical management.
  • Three to five years leading client projects and initiatives that may include multiple team members.
  • Five to seven years of assessing and trouble-shooting data issues on multiple platforms.
  • Five to seven years of hands on experience mining and analyzing data.
  • Utilizing SQL to query and interpret data from a database or data warehouse required.
  • Familiarity with SAS and R a nice to have.
  • BA / BS in computer science, management information systems, statistics, mathematics, marketing research or equivalent technical or semi-technical undergraduate degree with emphasis in statistics.
