Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious CFIUS Systems Analyst for Product Controls and review process to join this growing team.

The CFIUS Systems Analyst for Product Controls will report to the VP of CFIUS Security and will be responsible for a variety of tasks to assist in managing the CFIUS product control requirements, applications review processes and SOW program. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for understanding how the business teams are implementing controls, preparing applications and SOW processes, understand the deployment architecture, and be able to review it from an operational integrity perspective, as well as develop documents and reports with an emphasis on CFIUS compliance. This includes:

  • Works locally, virtually, and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Creates product controls and compliance solutions based on interviews with subject matter experts and business teams
  • Develops scope and plan for providing documentation materials designed to fit specific knowledge needs
  • Participates in and/or lead internal meetings, reviews and related activities
  • Performs projects and duties as assigned in support of department goals and objectives. Examples of these would include but not be limited to participation in focus workgroups; attend implementation meetings and calls; and collaborate with Engineering, Operations and PMO teams to ensure business need is met
  • Monitors changes to applications and SOW to ensure content is accurate and current

The Systems Analyst will assist the BCT team improve systems, procedures and controls needed to operate more efficiently, and works with other team members to refine and improve the review cycle. The Analyst will analyze and provide assistance with reviews of business systems and operations, approaches to mitigate risks, resolve alerts, and preempt possible adverse outcomes of identified weaknesses. What you will do:

  • Work with the BCT operations and management team to build out the organization's product control processes, application and SOW review initiatives.
  • Work with business units to analyze system requirements to determine control procedures, application and SOW processes. 
  • Assists in managing risk, assurance, and compliance activities against CFIUS requirements.
  • Assists in gathering information for the submissions for the third-party engagements while consulting with the internal and external Legal teams.
  • Provides ongoing support by tracking and monitoring the review and application engagements throughout the product control life cycle and submission process.
  • Collaborate with Infosecurity, compliance, and legal teams to ensure compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures under the CFIUS requirements.
  • Assists in managing the development and maintenance of controls implemented to support compliance with CFIUS requirements, as well as reviewing and approving requests..
  • Develops metrics and creates reports and dashboards, as well as prepares communications and presentations to internal audiences.

What you will bring;

  • Knowledge or experience working with government agencies and regulatory processes. 
  • Experience in supporting, managing, or assessing controls and compliance against an enterprise-wide product programs, with specific knowledge of risk management requirements.
  • Analytical, written, verbal and presentation skills required to effectively manage product controls, communicate at all levels of the BCT, from administrative to the C-Suite.
  • Ability to think strategically to effectively translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to build relationships cross-functionally and partner with business teams to deliver solutions that meet the business needs and CFIUS compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs.

Desirable

  • Experience with writing detailed documentation for compliance and audits. 
  • Experience working with technical writers. 
  • Knowledge of AWS & GCP is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, management, computer science, information technology, or other related field.
