JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

Our office location in Lake Forest, IL, has an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist in our Cardiometabolic Business Unit under the Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics Division.

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team in executing and managing marketing strategies and campaigns. This includes assisting with content creation, campaign coordination, social media management, and market research to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and contribute to the overall success of the company’s marketing efforts. Office-based position.

What's You'll Do

Brand Advocacy:

  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in all communications and interactions with external stakeholders.

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and print.
  • Monitor campaign performance and report key metrics to senior marketing staff.

Event Coordination:

  • Support the planning and executing leadership events, such as leadership meetings, sales award trips, and marketing events.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, vendor management, and promotional materials.

Content Creation:

  •   Support creating and editing content for various marketing channels, including social media updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  •   Ensure content is consistent with the brand voice and messaging guidelines.

Administrative Tasks:

  •   Manage marketing calendars, track project deadlines, and ensure timely delivery.
  •   Assist with budget tracking and invoice processing.

Collaborative Support:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Excellence and product teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.
  • Support senior leadership with various projects and tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of working experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven ability to build relationships and navigate complex, external organizations to identify internal champions and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong collaborator who can build relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to pivot easily between projects and ramp up quickly on new topics
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, organization, and project management skills
  • Excellent writer and communicator who can succinctly and accurately organize, summarize, clarify, and communicate ideas.
  • Experience in managing projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Events Management, Communication Management, Marketing, Promotional Marketing
  • Languages
  • Smartsheet

The base pay for this position is

$57,300.00 – $114,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
