Course: Personal Brand Management

This course is an introduction and overview to social media tools and techniques. Students apply strategic thinking to the “why” and learn to plan, organize, and create digital content. Case studies will give reference and understanding of the changing landscape in this media market.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Preferred: Masters Degree
• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, Journalism, Multi-media Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Experience in brand development and reputation management for individuals; Name, Image, Likeness requirements; the design, creation and production of social media, including writing, photography, and video skills on desktop and phone. Knowledge of Canva and the Adobe Suite of products for desktop and phone. Minimum 3 years applicable industry experience.
