GTE Facilities and Site Strategy Leader

In this key role, you will play an integral part in supporting BGS GTE site strategy. Develop and maintain facilities Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) addressing growth and required facility modifications. Leads overall GTE facility planning, analysis, and project administration. 

                                  

Position Responsibility:

  • Forecasts lab growth and sustainment needs to ensure contract deliverables are met
  • Identifies facility requirements for new spaces and when modifications to existing space are needed.
  • Tracks overall GT facilities program schedule to leverage existing lab space when available and deliverable timelines align.
  • Works directly with GREF, engineering, and PMCM to plan and coordinate facility modifications
  • Identifies and plans for facilities related risk mitigation with lab management and program teams
  • Ensures necessary approvals through LT ERB/CCB and Capital & Expense Review Board (SCERB)
  • Complete detailed Capital Budget Request (CBR)
  • Manage and execute project to plan coordinating with GREF to ensure identification and mitigation of risks and opportunities
  • Maintain project forecast validity in the Capital Performance System (CAPS) by providing updates to capital focal and support performance reviews to ensure alignment to plan (including Commitment, Capital Expenditure & Ready for Use Date)
  • Ensure proper tagging of and capitalization of asset(s) within 60 days of Ready for Use (RFU)
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
  • Ensure proper seating based on Adaptive Planning (AP) staffing forecast
  • Manages the GTE capital portfolio and budget. 
  • Provides oversight of facility maintenance impacts and ensures proper notification
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment across site and programs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in project management 
  • 5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 8+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with and developing a Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)
  • 3+ years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience monitoring & coordinating implementation activities such as relocations, construction, schedule, and project reviews

Summary pay range: $132,600 – $179,400
