Position Summary

The 340B Contract Pharmacy Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing 340B administration operational activities and duties, and assist with high priority projects/tasks related to Contract Pharmacy and CVS retail Account Management support. The Assoc. Manager also ensures tasks are being completed effectively and efficiently by their direct reports, and provides assistance and guidance as needed. They have expert knowledge related to the 340B program and assist with training their team, other departments, and clients to be business experts.

Eagerly seeking candidates who can:

-Oversee a team dedicated to requests for contract pharmacy and CVS retail account management support. This includes but is not limited to hiring/managing a team of 10 + Coordinators and Sr. Coordinators, assigning/delegating tickets and/or emails accordingly. Performance management, team engagement, training, coaching and feedback, and other essential leadership functions.

-Lead team to ensure timely communication and support for CP’s and CVS AMs related to inventory research tickets, return requests, alert monitoring, and inquiry/analysis requests.
- Establish relationships with contract pharmacies, wholesalers, and CVS retail account management team to escalate and resolve issues; the first point of contact on issues and/or escalations if CP Sr. Ops Coordinator are unable to resolve. Join regular pharmacy and wholesaler calls to provide support, training, and answer operational questions.

- Oversee monitoring and resolution of ordering, inventory issues, wholesaler files, drug related issues, and PBM rejections

- Review team metrics and strategize ways to improve processes, system enhancements, and overall resource allocation.  


Required Qualifications

  • Computer Skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
  • Technical aptitude essential with the ability to learn proprietary systems
  • Persistence and detail-orientation required
  • 1 year of supervisory or management experience required
  • 3 years of experience with customer service required



Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a managed care, health care, pharmaceutical or provider setting
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • 3 years of 340B knowledge and expertise required



Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent yrs. experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
