As a Security Officer, you will play an essential role in this mission and be a part of our growing organization. You will be responsible for protecting patients, visitors, caregivers, and hospital property by conducting regular patrols and enforcing facility policies.
A caregiver in this position works evenings from 2:00PM - 10:30PM.
With these hours you can be eligible for the Cleveland Clinic $1.75 shift differential, in addition to the hourly rate of pay!

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Education:
High School diploma or GED is required
Certifications:
Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license (VDL) and maintain eligibility of insurability to operate the organizations’ vehicles.
OPOTC (Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission) approved Private Security Academy preferred.
Competencies (Complexity of Work):
Strong interpersonal skills.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate in a courteous and direct manner.
Work Experience:
Minimum of one year previous experience in the field of criminal justice; private, public or military security (or similar in a related field) is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Requires extensive walking, standing, sitting, talking, listening, and documenting when directing or investigating concerns/incidents.
Typical physical demands require full body motion, physical strength, and stamina to intervene during response to crisis interventions and medical emergencies.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
