Want to play a role in global commerce? As a Development Management Coordinator, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering best-in-class service. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth operations across the board. You will handle everything from administrative tasks, such as scheduling and minutes preparation, to assisting in the development and implementation of innovative projects. Your contributions will help streamline processes, support our developers and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. This role reports directly to the Head of Development, France.

Our Development Management team plays fundamental roles in our Land Acquisition, Land Entitlement, Land Development, Design Development, Procurement, Value Engineering and Design Optimization work, pushing boundaries through innovation, strategic sourcing and process improvements to compress schedules, reduce costs and advance alternate construction methods. You will partner with our Development Management and Capital Deployment teams to not only growing Prologis’ presence in the French market, but also align with cross regional leadership to create cohesive communication, management and strategy throughout our global network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as key contributor to our Development Management Team within France with strong collaboration with Capital Deployment, Property, and Leasing departments for both new development plans and land/building acquisition projects.
  • Provide operational and communication support to enable the Development Management team to dedicate more time to meeting their customers’ needs
  • Maintain projects financial and payment information and provide actionable insights for the team.
  • Support the Development Manager when controlling his project’s finances.
  • Streamline and optimize the filing of documents managed by the team.
  • Execute secretarial and administrative tasks, for example writing of assignments, making minutes as well as making appointments with customers, brokers, suppliers, general contractors, consultants, valuers and others
  • Make the minutes of the different meetings in English and French
  • Manage the requisitions and purchase orders creation and invoices management for the team based on our internal softwares (i.e. Peoplesoft)
  • In absence of the Project Managers, ensure communication to clients, experts and general contractors and answering their questions properly
  • Update the contact data within the Project Management System for internal as well as external parties
  • Keep the Project Management archive, digitally as well as hard copy, up to date
  • Support innovation processes, for example participating in sourcing new ideas or implementing them when related to Project Management and/or Development.

Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience in an administrative role or a related field and/or equivalent training.
  • Fluent in French with a good command of English.
  • Ability to follow specific oral and written instructions.
  • Execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency and thoroughness.
  • Ability to collaborate with operations, accounting, and other team members to complete various projects and tasks.
  • Excellent service and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to communicate via email with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to use computer software and web-based applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks daily with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.
  • Show tact, discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
