The Manager, FP&A Services will report and support the Controller, ISC FP&A. This position will lead the financial operations for our IoT Systems and Connectivity (ISC) Services. This role is instrumental in driving strategic decision-making, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Location: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the financial strategy for ISC, aligned with overall company objectives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the ISC Controller to drive growth and profitability.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting exercises for the ISC. Collaborate with department heads to establish budget targets and analyze variances to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and performance indicators to assess the health and performance of ISC. Provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements and mitigate risks.

  • Analyze revenue trends, pricing models, and customer segmentation to optimize revenue generation and maximize profitability. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.

  • Identify cost drivers and opportunities for cost optimization. Develop strategies to improve efficiency and streamline processes while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to align financial plans with business objectives and drive cross-functional initiatives.

  • Lead ad-hoc financial analysis projects and special initiatives as assigned by the ISC Controller. Provide decision support on strategic projects, acquisitions, and business development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration or a related subject

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the SaaS industry or technology sector.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, revenue recognition principles, and subscription-based metrics (ARR, MRR, Churn, etc.).

  • 1+ years of leadership experience and strong people management skills

  • A self-starter who can work independently and inspire others both in and outside of reporting organization

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to influence a desired outcome

  • Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting to executive management.

  • Attention to detail and approaches work with initiative and a strong sense of urgency

  • Business partnership skills and the demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and across geographical boundaries

  • Proficient with MS Office with Expert Excel knowledge

  • MBA/CPA/CFA preferred

Pay Range

  • 84,000 - 132,000 CAD annually
