Overview:
The Accounting Operations function is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and compliance to regulations, accounting principles, and standards. This stream also includes administrative roles that support operations through skilled technical, administrative, or operational tasks.

You will be responsible for:

• Manage accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoicing.
• Perform cost accounting activities such as allocation and analysis of direct/indirect costs, and variance analysis (actual vs. budgeted).
• Support budget accounting by developing and monitoring annual revenue/expense budgets to control funds and measure operating results.
• Execute administrative and operational tasks to support business functions.
• Apply accounting standards and guidelines while exercising independent judgment within defined boundaries.
• Resolve problems by making departures from established processes when necessary.

Colleagues have knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts and information but may need to escalate non-routine problems to a more experienced colleague or supervisor.
