Summary  

Codazen is looking for a Product Manager (6 Month Contract) excited to take on challenges in a growing and fast-paced, Agency environment. The candidate should have a deep technical understanding and experience of driving and owning software product development principles and processes.  

The Product Manager will serve as the 'voice of the client’ throughout the end-to-end process of product development and ensure that the software products and experiences delivered meet the client’s needs and goals. You will be responsible for working with clients to define and make recommendations for product strategy, create product roadmap, and set goals to drive forward the product’s success. This role may supervise Product Owners and/or Quality Assurance Analysts to help translate strategy into execution within their assigned projects. 

This role is responsible for creating product roadmaps. You will also maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure that the development teams are working to maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality. The candidate must be detail oriented with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, cross-functional team members and clients.  

  
Requirements  

  • Proven experience in an agency environment  
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap and a detailed project plan, collaborating with cross-functional team members and clients, which includes defining product features and priorities.  
  • Gather and define requirements with clients to achieve the software product goals and relay those requirements to the rest of the teams. 
  • Drive forward high-level product strategy and make recommendations to achieve the client’s immediate and long-term goals to facilitate strategic initiatives.  
  • Recognize and grasp product-related risks while assessing their potential impact.  
  • Work with cross-functional team to evaluate and propose options to mitigate risks.
  • Analyze and assess key performance measurements to drive customer goals and improvements to the product.
  • Lead task prioritization and backlog grooming with cross-functional teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through daily communication. 
  • Construct user stories with well-defined requirements and confirm requirements are satisfied upon development.
  • Facilitate and support collaboration and effective workflow between project team members.  
  • Oversee process adoption and improvement in a way that minimizes disruptions. Evaluating current processes to determine where improvements can be made.
  • Create a healthy team culture that provides continuous feedback, support and empowerment. 
  • Set clear goals for yourself and your team and hold employees accountable for deliverables while recognizing strong performance. 
  • This is a hybrid position, 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH; Monday, Wednesday, Friday based out of Irvine, CA.

 Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's Degree in information science, computer science or equivalent experience.  
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in client-facing role, ideally supporting enterprise level clients 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years working in a software development Agency environment
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Product Management role
  • Proven success managing the delivery and release of consumer-facing enterprise software products.  
  • Experience coordinating between creative and engineer teams in a client-facing environment is strongly preferred.  
  • Strong understanding of web application and general software development
  • Strong knowledge of software disciplines including: Strategy, Creative, UX, Information Architecture, Business Analysis, Technology, QA, and Analytics.  
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodologies   
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, with great interpersonal and presentation skills. 
  • Detail-oriented, take-ownership approach, self-organizing and highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects. 
  • Collaborative attitude and a results-driven mindset.

  • Product Management Certifications  

 

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications. 
Irvine Pay Range
$60$85 USD
