Job Description:

As an Operations Assistant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you will support the planning and execution of Guest facing and Media focused events. This will include integration between multiple lines of business, timeline management, onsite support, and post-event reporting. Written communication, event planning, graphic design skills, time management, organizational skills, and project management skills are important to the success of this position.

You will report to the Parks Planning & Integration Project Manager at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

You Will:

• Be a resource to multiple internal and external lines of business who make event and media requests
• Collaborate with important partners regarding scope, support, and need for each event
• Assist with the integration of event and media activity by providing onsite operational support
• Organize and maintain company assets
• Provide general support to the Planning & Integration team

You Will Have:

• Project Management experience
• Conventions, catering, event or media experience
• Highly organized, detail and process oriented with excellent follow-through and time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet
• Schedule availability to include weekends, variable shifts, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in project or event management
• Knowledge of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and offerings
