DEPARTMENT Food & Beverage 

REPORTS TO:   Premium Services Manager 

FLSA STATUS:   Hourly Non-Exempt

Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Suite Attendant. Ensuring that guests staying in suites or premium rooms have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Pre-event suite set-up includes chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting, and overall ambiance in the suite.  

  • Verify and set-up all pre-game/event orders.  

  • Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself.  

  • Take and place game day food and beverage orders.  

  • Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event. 

  • Replenish food, beverages, condiments, and utensils as needed.  

  • Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the event.  

  • Obtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely manner 

  • Clear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite.  

  • Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager. 

  • Working hours vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, and weekends 

  • May perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications  

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.  

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in foodservice position required. 

  • Must possess a valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards. 

  • Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training.  

  • Knowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation, and safety issues. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with staff and to prepare event plans. 

  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan. 

  • Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate $17 - $19/hr
