The Consultant Technical Product Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction for product initiatives within the organization. This role involves defining product vision and strategy, prioritizing features based on market analysis, and mentoring junior team members. The Senior Technical Product Manager acts as a technical subject matter expert, driving product innovation and optimizing performance metrics to achieve business objectives.

How You'll Shine:

  • Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for product initiatives. Ensure alignment between product roadmap and organizational goals.
  • Feature Development: Define and prioritize product features to deliver maximum value to customers. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product features and functionality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Advocate for the needs of customers and stakeholders in decision-making processes.
  • Requirements & User Stories: Define and refine product requirements based on market feedback and data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between requirements and user needs.
  • Issue Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery. Implement processes and tools to streamline issue resolution and decision-making.
  • Technical Aptitude: Act as a technical subject matter expert within the organization. Provide guidance on technical architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Metrics / Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Analyze metrics and data to track product performance and user engagement. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize product features and functionality.


Travel Requirements:

  • Limited travel throughout the year up to 15%. Occasional travel to meet with stakeholders, participate in team onsite meetings, perform usability testing, attend vendor meetings or conferences may be required.


What You'll Bring:

  • BA/BS Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preference to MBA and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified SCRUM Product Owner Certification a plus but not required.
  • Deep understanding of and experience in product management principles and best practices in hospitality, eCommerce and/or Information Technology.
  • Visionary leadership to drive product initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success managing web and mobile projects that require in-depth partnership with IT/technical counterparts and integration with back-end systems/data.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively articulate product vision and strategy to executive stakeholders.
  • Innovative thinking to drive product innovation and differentiation.
  • Change management expertise to navigate organizational transitions and drive successful change initiatives.
  • Strong decision-making skills to address complex challenges and make informed judgments.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders and key partners.
  • Strategic planning skills to define and execute product strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Performance management skills to set clear goals, track progress, and drive accountability.
  • Deep understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, mentor and coach cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with Content Management System (CMS)
  • Experience with Digital Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Full Story, Quantum Metrics)
  • Experience using project management tools (Jira, Basecamp, VersionOne, etc.)
  • Experience managing and estimating projects
  • 8 years of experience in product management and/or running technical projects/programs, including experience in a senior or lead role, with a strong technical background.
  • Experience in translating business requirements to high level technical requirements.
  • Experience building and leading a world-class team of technical product managers with a mission to power real-time, intelligent experiences for our customers and associates
  • Experience planning requirements, identifying risks, managing project schedules, and communicating clearly with cross-functional partners across the company


Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
